this isn't right, and the worst part is we're not pretending

why hheeelloooooo blogspot. you look so lonely.

okay so TODAY!! is one of those happy musical days that nicko has. here i go.
today, "with roots above and branches below" releases, and it's honestly one of the best albums i've heard in a while. i've been a tdwp fan since plagues, and plagues was a good album. plagues was like a good starter album. but you see, nowadays, once bands have a good starter album, they seem to fail with the next album. but THIS album is one of those albums that dont fail. this album like meets my expectations...

and if you wanna get technical...here i go =]

this album is awesome because:
1. overall better feel. song parts connect better. there are parts that actually repeat, like choruses. (unlike other metalcore bands i listen to. [yeah i know parts that repeat make tdwp kind of "poppier", but its a good step to take in song writing. a brave one too, i believe])
2. jeremy's singing is better. his singing melodys/parts are wayy better, catchier than plagues. i guess they really did take the time. it makes you just wanna listen more.
3. mike's screams for the most part are in more of a steady/aggressive flow. he doesnt go crazy low and high. it's mostly in the middle, with lows here and there.

4. this album is heavier in parts, w/ mike's lows, and ... ->
5. metal riffs, catchy ones. breakdowns are awesome.
6. chris's guitar does alotta delay licks which i like.

thats it for you. trevor from OLN guest vocals on danger: wildman. he does a good job. small, but good job.
school, is gay for this month. state testing all over. AND block schedule -_________-
